There are some days in your life, when you realize just how fast everything is really moving.

Most days I feel as though time goes by slowly. A year really does feel like a long time.

Last night Kyle’s brother announced his engagement on facebook. And for some reason, that really shook me.

And then only twelve hours later, my mom messaged me that one of my friends’ mother had died.

Maybe it’s just the two things happening in such a short period of time, because this isn’t typical.

But I can’t help feeling like everything is starting to speed up. Our parents are getting older, and we all are getting to that age where marriage and pregnancies are the big moments in our lives. And I don’t know if I’m ready for the future.
